Three windows are opening at the same time. Agentic workflows have just gone mainstream: the shift from prompting to loop engineering — designing loops that prompt agents on a schedule, with no human in the loop — is recent and accelerating, and it manufactures exactly the bursty, concurrent, long-running workload that overwhelms local hardware. Capable Models Run Locally
At the same time, capable open-source models now run locally.
